How It Works
How Privé Window Films selects, quotes, and installs professional window film. No guesswork. Film chosen for your specific space.
01
Review
We assess your space before recommending anything.
Every project starts with understanding your property type, sector, location, window count, goals, and timeline. Photos help when available. For institutional clients — schools, daycares, medical spaces, developers, and larger commercial projects — we account for procurement processes and site-access requirements from the start. No recommendation is made before we understand the specifics of your space.

02
Recommend
Film selected for your glass, your orientation, your goals.
Product selection depends on glass type, lighting conditions, building orientation, and what you need the film to do. Privacy, heat control, UV protection, glare reduction, safety, decorative finish, and Low-E performance each involve different film types and different trade-offs. We use manufacturer-verified data from XPEL, LLumar, and 3M to match the right film to your specific situation. We explain the trade-offs clearly and give you a recommendation you can understand before making any decision.

03
Quote
Custom pricing. No generic estimates.
Pricing is based on the scope of the project, the film type selected, window size, access requirements, glass condition, and whether the application is interior or exterior. No two projects are identical, which is why no public starting price reflects the actual cost of your project. A quote gives you the real number for your specific space. For institutional and commercial projects, we provide the documentation required for procurement and approval processes.

04
Install
Clean prep, measured cuts, clean edges. Finished in a single visit when possible.
Glass is cleaned and prepared properly before any film is applied. Cuts are measured and precise. Edges are finished without gaps or lifting. When installation is complete, the film should look like it belongs there — not like something was added after the fact. Most residential and smaller commercial projects are completed in a single visit. Larger institutional and multi-floor projects are scheduled in phases that work around your operations.

05
Aftercare
Curing, cleaning, and support after installation.
Film requires a curing period after installation. During this period, small water bubbles may appear beneath the surface — this is a normal part of the curing process and resolves as the adhesive sets. We provide specific cleaning guidance, recommended products, and maintenance instructions for the film type installed. Warranty terms vary by product and application. We provide full documentation and remain available after the installation is complete.
