WHAT WE ASSESS BEFORE RECOMMENDING FILM

We look at the details that decide the outcome

Glass type

We identify what you have and how it performs. On newer sealed units this matters more than anything else, because the wrong film on the wrong glass causes thermal stress. We confirm compatibility before recommending.

Sun exposure

Direction, intensity, and when the heat actually peaks. A west elevation and a north elevation are different projects.

Privacy goals

Daytime privacy, night privacy, or room separation. Three different problems with three different answers, and night privacy has to be planned from the start.

Heat and glare

Where the discomfort actually is, and how much daylight you are willing to trade to remove it. Usually less than people expect.

Safety needs

Which glazing is vulnerable, and whether there is a code requirement attached to it.

Appearance

Whether a reflective exterior is acceptable, or whether the film needs to be invisible from the street. This narrows the options fast.

Access and conditions

Interior or exterior application, working height, and what the site allows. This is one of the biggest drivers of cost, and it is why we look before we price.
