PROJECT EXAMPLES
Real spaces, the problem each one needed solved, the film we installed, and what changed.
Storefront corner glazing
The problem
Clients in the chair sat in full view of the parking lot, so the curtains stayed closed all day. The corner glass also took the afternoon sun, and the room overheated.
Film installed
XPEL Silver 15
The result
The curtains stay open. By day the glass reads as a mirror from outside, so clients stay out of view, and the room no longer overheats in the afternoon.
West facing living room glass
The problem
After 2pm the sun came straight off the canal. The living room was too hot and too bright to use, and people on the path below could see right in.
Film installed
XPEL Evening View 15
The result
Afternoons in the living room are comfortable again, the path no longer sees in during the day, and the canal view stayed.

Interior glass partition
The problem
A clear glass partition put patients on display to everyone walking past. Blinds would have closed the room in and made it feel smaller.
Film installed
XPEL White Frost
The result
Frosted to just above eye level, so patients stay private while the clear band on top keeps the room bright and open.
Street facing classroom windows
The problem
Ground floor classrooms sat right on the sidewalk. Anyone walking by could watch the class, and glare washed out the boards, so the blinds stayed down and the lights stayed on.
Film installed
XPEL Silver 15
The result
Passersby see a mirror, not a classroom, and glare no longer washes out the boards. The blinds stay up, and the install took one visit outside school hours.

That depends on what the glass is doing to your space. If a room is unusable in the afternoon, if the blinds have been closed since spring, or if your flooring is fading, film solves those directly, and for a fraction of what the alternatives cost. Replacing sun damaged flooring in a condo living area runs about $10,000. New cabinets, $15,000. Replacing the glass is the option almost nobody takes, because it means permits, lead times and construction in a space you are living in. Film goes onto the glass you already have, and it prevents the damage instead of paying to undo it. If your glass isn't causing you a problem, you don't need us. We'd rather tell you that on the phone than sell you something you won't notice.
Professional-grade film applied correctly does not damage glass. Whether film affects a window manufacturer's warranty depends on that manufacturer, so for newer IGU windows we confirm compatibility before recommending a film. If your windows are a concern, mention it when you reach out.
That depends entirely on the film. Privacy films have a mirror-like exterior appearance during daylight. Solar control films are nearly invisible from outside. We bring samples to every site survey so you can see exactly what the finished result looks like on your glass before committing.
Solar control films reduce glare and heat but are engineered to preserve visible light transmission. You will not feel like you are sitting in a dark room. Privacy films are a different case and we explain the light trade-off during consultation.
We serve the island of Montréal, Laval, Longueuil, and the broader South and North Shore. If you are outside these areas, send us a message. We assess projects beyond the standard zone on a case-by-case basis.
We respond within one business day. For most projects, the next step is a free site survey where we assess the glass, discuss the problem you are solving, and recommend the right film. No commitment required at that stage.
