Canal Side Condo

Split view of a modern canal-side condo building exterior and a bright living room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the water and a green truss bridge
The problem
After 2pm the sun came straight off the canal. The living room was too hot and too bright to use, and people on the path below could see right in.
Film installed
XPEL Evening View 15
The result
Afternoons in the living room are comfortable again, the path no longer sees in during the day, and the canal view stayed.

A west facing unit above the canal path that stopped being usable in the afternoon. Direct sun through the full height glass drove the heat and the glare, and walkers on the path below had a clear line of sight into the living space. We installed XPEL Evening View 15 across the west facing glass. It rejects most of the solar heat and glare at the glass, and by day it turns the windows into a mirror for anyone on the path. Its low interior reflectance keeps the canal readable from the sofa in the evening too. The owner noticed the difference in the room the same day.
