- The problem
- Ground floor classrooms sat right on the sidewalk. Anyone walking by could watch the class, and glare washed out the boards, so the blinds stayed down and the lights stayed on.
- Film installed
- XPEL Silver 15
- The result
- Passersby see a mirror, not a classroom, and glare no longer washes out the boards. The blinds stay up, and the install took one visit outside school hours.
Ground floor classrooms with windows onto the street, where anyone on the sidewalk could see straight in during class. Blinds solved it only by leaving the lights on all day, and glare across the boards made the problem worse. We installed XPEL Silver 15 on the street facing classroom windows. By day it reads as a mirror from the sidewalk, so the class is out of view, and it cuts the glare and solar heat at the glass. The work was completed in a single visit outside school hours, with no disruption to the school day.
