Smart film or frosted film: which should I choose?

For most spaces, frosted film. It gives constant privacy day and night, with no power or wiring, and it costs far less to install and maintain.

Smart film only makes sense if you truly need to switch between a clear view and full privacy several times a day, and you accept the wiring and higher cost. For a bathroom, office, meeting room or street-facing window, frosted film does the job simply. A frosted band at eye level can also keep part of the view open.
